Well as you probably already know (and you should) I do really love this picture. The sharpness of the dragon is stunning, not to mention all the lightsources and the reflections they create. Fire looks very realistic from the already burning to the still-being-breathed-fire, and the people in the fire is also a nice detail. Unlike the last critiquer, I don't really think it's a bad thing that the people aren't drawn in more detail - they are not the center of the attention, but you can still see their assumed age and the terror.
However, I am disappointed that in a such a stunning and detailed artpiece you neglegted the clouds! I know and understand that you were really tired after so many hours you spent on this, but it's little jarring how the clouds look like rough sketches compared to everything else. Also, even though you fixed the further wall it still looks little crooked, but that's small detail and definately better than it used to be, and considering how beautiful the church is it's a small detail. The The city in the background could also be a bit too blurred. As you should know, when everything is marvelous you have to nitpick about the tiniest of things ;>
...Speaking of which, the "floor" or whatever I should call it creates a bit of optical illusion and crooks my eyes. I know it's perspective and really hard to pull of though! My advise would be to search a floor like that (cgtextures is a good bank for stuff like that), then use the Photoshop's perspective tool and paint over it to make your job easier :3
That aside, I love the two different light sources in this picture and how you've taken both in account. The blue light from the moon and red from the flames make a jarring difference - you start from the blue and everything is fine and dandy, you think nothing's wrong, and then BAM comes the fire, orange, red and terror.
Well in short I think this picture is in the end very well executed, gloriously painted and I will be forever in awe for your painting skills AND your patience to do so many things! I'm also glad that you're so open to try and do things like structures and backgrounds and such even though they are really hard!
The dragon is very well detailed and is the center of attention creating a visual flow with both its wings and flames that carry you around the entire piece. Smoke to the right along with the clouds act as a border to help frame the action within the shot. The colors choice also works extremely well putting warm and cool against each other for a wonderful contrast. The only downside is that the people aren't rendered out a bit more to get across even more of an emotional impact. If the people, and possibly the smoke and building on the right, were rendered out a bit more I would see it as being even more exciting and awe-inspiring. Overall I-G-N-I-T-I-O-N is an impressive piece with very few drawbacks.
