_{Do I submit my art too often? Just thinking... but now that I really have my inspiration back and since I hade this mood for drawing cats, I desided to do this little card like image..... Mother and her cub. she is protecting him. Maybe she thinks that there is something threatening him.

I love cats.

and Dogs and wolves ofcourse too n_n I'm quite happy to how this came out

This composition is lovely, cropping superb.

The eyes are very realistic but the kittens eyes are a little over detailed which makes them look too busy. Maybe they don't need that grey line through the middle?? They loose impact because of it. The kittens pupils also look round rather than a slit like mum's pupils.

Choice of colours is excellent but I wonder why you chose a green grey for the mother's body. A lighter version of the face grey may have worked better.

Whilst the facial features are realistic, the bodies seem more graphic and flat finished in nature.

I would have liked more defined shadows under both cat's heads.

The reason for my critique is because I am in the process of looking for an illustrator for a children's book about a black and white cat. I came to your page to view your other work and noticed your request.

This is a lovely illustration and I like it a lot.
